Happy Friday! I decided to change my blog/website address to better suit what I do. I hope you like it!
I chose: Triquetra Energy and Aromatherapy (www.triquetraenergyandaromatherapy.com)
The reason I chose Triquetra is for my love of the Triquetra and what it means to me. For me it represents the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I feel the same about the Shamrock, but it didn’t sound quite right. They are both a daily reminder of my Faith.
I chose Energy to represent the energy healing that I share via Reiki and Crystals (or a combination of the two).
Aromatherapy I chose for obvious reasons. It’s something I love to share as a stand alone modality, and it’s also complementary to Reiki and Crystal Energy healing.
Today I want to share a recipe for making home made bug spray that’s chemical free…..
You will need:
2 oz of either Frankincense hydrosol OR filtered water
16 drops of Patchouli Essential Oil
10 drops Cedarwood Essential Oil
4 drops Spikenard Essential Oil
That’s it! Pour hydrosol OR water into 2 oz. glass spray bottle, add all the drops, put the lid on, make a label and presto, you’re done! Took all of 3 1/2 minutes to make!
Here’s a video I made for it…..
There are other essential oils you can try instead of these, like eucalyptus, opopanax, juniper and you can also use peppermint hydrosol instead of frankincense. This recipe is just one of many ways to utilize ways to use essential oils!
Some of y’all have probably noticed that I have added another certification this last year. I became a Certified Crystal Healer in early November and plan to study more about crystals and crystal healing later this year to upgrade my certification to Advanced Crystal Master.
You may be wondering what a crystal healing session is, so I’m going to try and tell you a little more about it to help you to understand a bit more about is:
A bit like a spa treatment in that it can be deeply relaxing and rejuvenating
Clothing stays on, but shoes can be removed to be more relaxed and comfy
Minimal contact (placement and removal of crystals/stones only)
Session goals can include energy realignment, removal of blocked energy – these allow for healing and spiritual growth. Different crystals have different energies that work by taking our out of balance energy and entraining it back into balance. Depending on what is out of balance, I will choose a particular crystal to work with to bring what is out of balance, back into balance by placing a crystal in the area that needs work.
Energetic imbalances can cause ailments and/or emotional issues that balancing energies can assist in helping.
Promotes good health and energetic balance
These are just a few things to help give you an idea of what to expect in a session. Many people fall asleep and awaken feeling energized! I can also include Reiki during a session which to me is an added energy lift, as it goes where it’s needed most and is a wonderful extra layer of energy therapy.
Right now I’m only able to offer distance sessions due to travels, but energy therapy such as Crystal Healing and Reiki know no boundaries and work very well whether you’re there in person or not.
Here is an article that can help explain a bit more about distance healing…..
Well, it’s official! I graduated!!! I can play with rocks ’til my heart’s content! ha Makes me wish we were still in Utah so we could go do a little more rock hounding! This type of energy healing has been around for centuries! It’s really amazing! Even though I have graduated, I still have a lot more I want to learn about it. So much so, that I’ve already signed up for the Advanced Crystal Master’s course next September through the http://hibiscusmooncrystalacademy.com/! Woohoo!!!
I posted a video recently about making a gem elixir, and today I made a new one on making a gem hand sanitizer.
Recipe: You take amber and black jade pieces/chips and put it in bottles(just 1-2 of each per bottle is fine). You mix together a cup of aloe vera gel, 1-2 tsp. of witch hazel, 2 drops each of pure essential oils of lavender, peppermint, lemongrass and tea tree oil. The recipe says to leave out the tea tree oil for babies and pregnant women. Mix/shake well and pour into spray bottles that have been cleaned and sanitized, label, and you’re ready to go! Quick and easy!
I’m not great at videos, but I hope you enjoyed it! 😀
I’ve been busy working on my Crystal Healing certification the last few weeks (turned everything in for grading today!), and I wanted to share something I learned…..How to make a gem elixir.
I’m going to write out the full instructions, but I will also include a video that I was challenged to make and upload by my awesome teacher Stefania (Hibiscus Mood Crystal Academy).
You start by gathering the crystals you would like to use. I chose amethyst, rose quartz and clear quartz. I put these into a glass carafe, filled it with filtered water, covered it with an unbleached coffee filter, and set it outside for about 3 hours (needs to be before noon). I then brought it inside, strained the water through an unbleached coffee filter, measured it to find out precisely how much I had, then I mixed this with the equal measurement of brandy (can also use vodka – must be 80 proof each). After mixing, you may put some into a dropper bottle and use 3 drops in your water throughout the day. It doesn’t matter if it’s 8 ounces of water or 80 ounces of water, it’s just 3 drops. The more diluted, the more potent. The “mother batch” (what’s left in your decanter) should be kept in a dark place and used as needed when your bottle needs refilling. This is good for about 3 months.
Here is the video for your amusement (it was my first instructional video! 😀 ) and I hope you will enjoy it! I will be making more videos as I make new things, so keep an eye out!
Thank you for watching and until next time, have a very Happy Healthy Day!!!
By placing crystals in drinking water the crystal energy is able to restructure the water, and will charge it with negative ions. (Read more about negative ions and why you want them here). The water is also charged with the vibration and energy properties of the crystals, and affects the energy body in much the same way as working with the stones themselves. They’re a great way to incorporate crystal energy into your life, and can be taken anywhere you can take a bottle of water!
1. Choose your purpose. Need an energy boost or a stress reliever? (You can skip this step and move to the next one if you like, never underestimate the benefits of simply choosing stones intuitively!)
2. Choose your stones. I recommend no more than three different kinds, not including quartz which can be added for amplification if you so choose. 3. Choose your…
Happy Harvest Moon! To celebrate, I thought instead of doing what I shoulllld be doing today (studying) I’d update my blog! I know, I know, 30 lashes for me! I study 5-7 hours a day, so a break is nice, though that does mean I have to crack down tomorrow to catch up, but that’s ok. Blame it on Mercury Retrograde….. 🙂
Also, to celebrate the full moon , I’m making a gem elixir. I’ve never done it before, but it is part of my CCH (Certified Crystal Healer) certification classes, so I’m trying it out! Don’t know what that is? Well, here are a couple of recipes from my CCH’s website:
